The Meeting Was Adjourned at approx. 1 a.m. by Jon F. The award for line of the night goes to Mr. F. himself, who at one point uttered the phrase "I won't have anyone hip hoppin' my Burt Bacharach!", which summarily brought the house down. The award for song review of the night goes to AGP, who described the Jose Feliciano cover of Light My Fire as "like having a nightmare about the Doors." The song selection of the night, in this secretary's humble opinion, goes to Jon F. for the song Venus by Slick Rick, although he hastens to point out that none of the songs were disappointments (except perhaps some of the extra-looong distortions in the Neil Young song - sorry Turner - and the sound quality on that Velvets tune - sorry A.G.). Those seeking a more accurate biography on MC Ricky D (aka Slick Rick) than the one I gave last night can go here. And, finally, the foot-in-mouth award for the evening goes to Jay, who, for whatever reason, found occasion to emit the phrase, "It *was* a sausage party until I showed up." Let us never speak of this again.
